LAW firm SO Legal has extended its sponsorship of Barrow AFC's Holker Street ground.

The club's ground will bear the company's name for another two seasons.

The last two seasons at the SO Legal Stadium have seen the Bluebirds secure two of their best seasons in more than 50 years as the club narrowly missed out on a promotion play-off place.

Last year, over a thousand new seats were installed at the stadium, making it fully compliant with EFL League One and League Two regulations and reflecting the club's dedication to maintaining the highest standards.

SO Legal is a law firm that provides specialist legal services, including commercial property, corporate law, litigation and dispute resolution, private client services, and residential conveyancing.

The company launched its Ulverston office in 2022 and also has offices in London and along the south coast, serving a nationwide client base of small and medium enterprises, retail and restaurant chains, property agents, developers, and private individuals.

Hamed Ovaisi, chairman of SO Legal, said: "It's been a rollercoaster journey so far, and we are immensely proud of our association with Barrow AFC.

"The club is well-positioned for the future, and we look forward to enjoying that journey. We're thrilled by how the club has helped us build a relationship with the people of Barrow, and we can't wait to see what this new season brings."

Barrow AFC chairman and co-owner Paul Hornby welcomed the extension.

He said: "I'm delighted Hamed and his team at SO Legal have extended the stadium sponsorship.

"Over the past two years, they have embraced being part of the Barrow community, frequently visiting the games and using their expertise to help local businesses and individuals.

"Having a sponsor for the long term really enhances the benefit they receive, and we look forward to working with SO Legal for the next two years and beyond."

Partnership coordinator Kelly Moxham said: "I am delighted to see SO Legal extend their stadium sponsorship for two more seasons.

"We have a fantastic relationship, and it has been a real honour to work with Hamed and the team over the last couple of years.

"It's apparent how much they love this football club and the people in our community.

"I am excited to see what is in store next."
