PLANS have been lodged to convert office space into flats in Barrow town centre.
Mr A. Najiby has submitted an application to Westmorland and Furness Council to determine if prior approval is necessary to convert office space on Dalton Road into two self-contained flats.
Planning documents say the proposed development is located on the first and second floors of 179 Dalton Road and both flats will have one bedroom.
According to planning documents, the property is in a ‘sustainable location’ with access to public transport links and a range of shops.
The application forms adds the property has direct access off the road and there is public open space close to the proposed dwellings which can be enjoyed by any future residents.
This application is currently undergoing public consultation.
