An upcoming event in Ambleside will be looking to raise money for one of the Lake District's mountain rescue team.
An evening of poetry is taking place at the Cotswold Outdoor store in Ambleside on Compston Road near Market Cross.
The proceeds from ticket sales will be going towards the Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team (LAMRT) in a way of further supporting the group's efforts in keeping people safe across the region.
The workshop, happening on July 30 at 6.30pm, is being conducted by Faye Latham, who is a mountaineer, poet and author.
Faye will be looking to connect with other women who also love the great outdoors, inspiring them to get out across the fells as well as promoting her book, 'British Mountaineers'.
Those involved will learn how to embrace their creativity, putting together their own pieces of poetry, whilst raising money for a good cause in the process.
You can book your tickets for just £4 here.
