POLICE are appealing for witnesses after 'thousands' worth of damage were caused to a golf course.
Barrow Police published on their social media a public service announcement which stated that damage was caused to Walney Golf Course.
The post said: "Unfortunately certain members of the public don't seem to know the difference, resulting in thousands of pounds worth of damage to Walney golf course.
"We are appealing for any witnesses and would be extremely grateful for any information leading to the identification of the culprits.
"If you can help, please get in touch with Barrow NPT on 101 and quote log CP-20240720-0064."
