A CINEMA is making a 'modest' increase to the price of its admission tickets.
The Roxy Cinema in Ulverston stated on social media that the team 'reluctantly' decided to make a 50p increase to the tickets.
This brings the cost of an adult ticket to £6.50 and a concession or child to £5.50.
The social media post said: "With prices rising all the time, we have put this increase off for as long as possible.
"The prices of our drinks, sweets and popcorn remain cheaper than at most venues, and so we hope you will agree that a trip to The Roxy still offers good value for money.
"Thank you for your support."
