A NEW quiet area is being installed at a park and construction will take weeks to be completed.
Millom Town Council issued a statement on their social media about a new quiet area being installed in Millom Park.
The council apologised for the disruption as work is being carried out.
The statement on their Facebook page said: "Tennis players unfortunately will have to enter the courts via the Multi Use Games gate.
"As we are now going into the school holidays can all parents please let their children know to stay away from the construction part of the park.
"Can they also tell them that it is not appropriate for bikes, e-scooters, etc to be used within the play areas. Thank you."
