FREE events are coming to Barrow Market Hall this weekend to complement the town's Festival of Transport.

On Saturday, July 20, thousands of people are expected to visit the town centre to make the most of the annual festivities.

And, in order to take advantage of this potential influx of people, the market hall is providing even more entertainment.

From the Portland Walk entrance, a model railway exhibit will be on display, with a remote control race track ready to be put to the test at 20 Duke Street.

At noon on Saturday, the South Lakes Rock School Choir will also be performing by the Portland Walk entrance to delight the amassed crowds.

The team of over 20 regular and independent traders will be joined by a whole host of guest businesses to make the most of what is expected to be a busy weekend.
