A CARLISLE man attempted to bring, throw or otherwise convey a mobile phone and a SIM card into or out of a prison in Preston.
Kyle Crawford (29), of no fixed abode, also admitted breaching a restraining order which had been imposed on him by Preston Crown Court in November 2023.
Less than six months later, on 14 May, he was in a woman's home address in Barrow without reasonable excuse.
On June 4 he attempted to bring, throw or otherwise convey a mobile phone and a SIM card into or out of a prison situated at Preston.
Judge Sara Dodd gave Crawford eight months imprisonment for the two offences at Preston Crown Court on July 17.
He pleaded guilty at South Cumbria Magistrates in Barrow on June 15.
