Ahead of the big day, organisers have shared a look at the running order for the stage performances.

The opening ceremony at the Market Cross will begin at 10.30am with appearances from the Mayor of Ulverston Graham Scrogham and the MP for Barrow and Furness - his wife Michelle Scrogham.

This will be followed by performances from Matthew Cooper, Sophie's Poetry, Dave Crossley and REMa Grace, and Ursula the Strong Woman.

Magenta Grey will take to the stage at 1.30pm preceding the Delicate Little Flowers, Kristal Kweer, David Clancy, Shirley Knott, Dougan Shanks and Mika Armitstead, and Becki Fishwick.

The festival will then draw to a close at 5pm, though organisers will be hopeful that the festivities do not stop there.
