A popular garden centre in south Cumbria is getting ready to celebrate four decades of business by giving back to its customers.

Beetham Nurseries, near Milnthorpe, will be marking the big birthday at its upcoming Summer Festival, which will take place between July 26 and 28.

A spokesperson from the centre said: "The amazing companies we work with have gifted us some fantastic 40th birthday presents, worth over £3500 in total.

"Throughout the weekend of our Summer Festival, we'll be giving them away!

"In this free treasure hunt, we will hide 40 mini wrapped gifts in-store, ready to be found - the gift tag will say what you have won."

Those who discover the hidden presents will then be able to take them to the information desk, where their prize will be claimed.
