A recent open day at the Barrow Lifeboat station raised plenty of money to support the crew and site.
The event was held on Saturday, July 13 between 11am and 4pm, with people getting the chance to climb aboard the station's vessels as well as meeting members of the crew.
Earlier this week, the team in Barrow thanked those who visited on the day, revealing that £800 had been donated in the process.
This money will go towards the general running and management of the station, serving as a vital source of funds to support the crucial work the team does from their base on Roa Island.
As well as getting to try on the kit that crew members wear on a daily basis, visitors were also able to make a stop at the souvenir shop to further boost donations.
The station is now looking ahead to its next big event, the Gala Day, which has grown to be a popular annual tradition.
