RESIDENTS have been invited to help create a mosaic of pollinator-friendly habitats.
On Thursday, July 18, Cumbria Wildlife Trust is planting wildflowers in the new meadow on Lesh Lane field in Barrow.
This is part of the Planting for Pollinators project in Barrow funded by the Westmorland and Furness Council.
Planting for Pollinators is a scheme where 50 Cumbrian communities will take action to plant more flowers that will help pollinators such as bees.
All equipment, plants and training are provided by Cumbria Wildlife Trust staff on the day. Everyone is welcome to join in for a short time or stay the day.
It is advised to bring clothes suited to the weather that can get dirty.
