NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five south Cumbria establishments.
Westmorland and Furness inspectors were busy rating food businesses in the county, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 5: Home & Finance Cafe at 14 New Market Street, Ulverston; rated on July 9
• Rated 5: Driftwood Fish and Chips at Driftwood Cafe, Glebe Road, Bowness-On-Windermere; rated on June 28
• Rated 5: Royal Oak at The Square, Cartmel; rated on June 27
• Rated 4: The Cornish Bakery at Pasty Presto, Royal Square, Windermere; rated on June 7
And one rating has been handed to a takeaway:
• Rated 5: Thai Pinto Kendal at 39 Branthwaite Brow, Kendal; rated on June 27
