The public are being urged to help after a moped was stolen in Barrow last month.

The incident took place on the morning of June 22 at around 1.30am.

The Neco moped, with the registration PE23 JVN, is black with yellow, red and green coloured stripes on the front. 

It was stolen from Ainslie Street, by the junction of Settle Street, with the suspect seen to be heading towards Warwick Street following the theft.

Anyone with any information on the incident or the current whereabouts of the moped is asked to report this to police via www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it quoting reference number 36 of 22 June 2024.
