The event, organised by Dalton Arts, Culture and Heritage (DACH) and Dalton Community Action (DCA), began at 10am and invited the whole community to get involved in the occasion.
Two separate car shows were some of the main attractions, featuring a Rolls Royce from 1932 currently owned by Mike Faulkner.
The Dalton Town Band also performed in various spots throughout the day with a number of activities dotted across the town to entertain the families in attendance.
There was even an appearance from town crier Alan Brown, who was recently named as the best in the country.
