Police remind residents to lock up after reports of a suspicious man trying handles.
South Lakes Police are appealing for information following a number of reports of a male trying car door handles.
The suspicious behaviour was reported in the area of Kentwood Road in Kendal between 3:30am and 4am on Friday July 12.
Police have also received similar reports of a male wearing dark clothing in the area of Bellingham road.
They said it is 'likely related' as he was looking into car windows.
Police are reminding residents to ensure that their vehicles, garages, sheds are secure.
Anyone who has CCTV or Video type door bells which has captured anything suspicious between these times are asked to contact Cumbria police on 101 quoting log number CP-20240712-0052.
