A school in Barrow is celebrating England's progress to the Euro 2024 final by giving its pupils a bit of a lie in.
With kids expected to have a later night than usual on Sunday to watch the Three Lions take on Spain, Greengate Junior School made the decision to extend the register on Monday, July 15.
This means that children will be able to arrive at the later time of 10am so that they can properly sleep off the effects of what is hoped to be a successful night.
The school will still be open from the normal time of 8.40am for families looking to keep to the typical schedule, with teachers there as usual.
Any students who arrive after 10am without proper reason will be marked as absent.
