THE blue wall of the Conservative-dominated Cumbria for the last five years has been toppled.
All former Conservative MPs lost their seats in a night to forget for Rishi Sunak and his party.
A shake-up of boundaries led to the formation of several new constituencies.
Cumbria is now red with Labour sweeping to victory in the county as they did across the country.
Tim Farron's win for the Liberal Democrats Westmorland and Lonsdale is the only non-Labour seat.
Here are the winners from the night:
- New Barrow and Furness MP 'incredibly humbled' as Labour take seat
- General Election: Tim Farron wins Westmorland and Lonsdale seat
- Labour's Julie Minns takes Carlisle win in General Election
- Markus Campbell-Savours elected as first MP for Penrith and Solway
- Labour's Josh MacAlister elected as MP for Whitehaven and Workington
- Labour's Lizzie Collinge also won the Morecambe and Lunesdale seat which now covers areas of south Cumbria
