Tickets to see Chetwynde Primary School’s performance of Oliver Jr have completely sold out.
The Barrow school confirmed they have sold more than 360 tickets ahead of their first performance of the classic tale.
Katherine Parkinson, Head of the Creative Faculty at Chetwynde School, said: “We are delighted to be playing to a full house with all tickets for the performances snapped up in record time. The pupils have been working really hard in rehearsals and can’t wait to perform to a crowd on the stage.”
With 120 pupils taking part, Oliver will come to life on stage at 6pm on Wednesday July 3 and Thursday July 4.
The students have been working on the show since January and are eager to get started, with so many talented young performers, many roles have been double cast so everyone can have their moment.
The main cast is made up of Year Six pupils, while Year Five play gang members and join in as dancers, while Years Three and Four portray workhouse children and the choir.
After initially selling out, there will be a handful more Oliver tickets going on sale tomorrow lunchtime around 12 noon!
