The event, organised by Dalton Arts, Culture and Heritage (DACH) and Dalton Community Action (DCA), will begin from 10am.

The Dalton Town Band will be performing in various spots to entertain the public while two separate car shows will surely fuel people's love for the town.

Activities for children will take place at Tudor Square and at Dalton United FC while local traders will be featured at a special fair.

Added onto this, 'Celebrate Dalton Day' will feature a pop-up museum, a careers hub, a coffee morning, and activities organised by the local girl guides.
