A fire station will be opening its doors to the Barrow public next month in the name of charity.
Barrow Fire Station confirmed on Friday, June 28 that its next open day will be taking place on Saturday, July 13 between 10am and 4pm.
Visitors will get the chance to learn more about what it takes to be a firefighter, as well as how to stay safe when emergency strikes.
All funds raised on the day will be going to the Fire Fighters Charity, which supports those actively in and retired from the service.
Various other local partners will be getting involved for the occasion, including Duddon and Furness MRT, Furness Coastguard, Blood Bikes Cumbria, Mind in Furness, and Andy's Man Club.
Family attractions, a raffle and a craft fair will be hosted alongside the informative displays, which will feature a road traffic collision (RTC) demonstration.
