Cartmel man drink driving on quad bike banned after causing accident

A MAN has been sentenced for causing a crash when driving a quad bike while nearly twice over the legal alcohol limit.

Jamie Proctor, of Haggs Lane in Cartmel, pleaded not guilty to drink driving on April 4 but was convicted in his absence at a trial on May 23.

Barrow woman more than double drink drive limit refused to give sample

A MOTORIST who was more than double the alcohol limit 'deliberately' refused to give a specimen of breath to police officers, a court heard.

South Cumbria Magistrates' Court heard Brittany Holmes was facing jail after she refused to cooperate with police having been suspected of drink driving.

Barrow motorist caught drug driving on A590 handed ban

A MOTORIST who drove with drugs in his system has been banned from driving.

Michael Shaw was charged with drug driving after he was found to have had a cannabis breakdown product in his blood while driving on the A590.

A MOTORIST was caught drunk in charge of a vehicle on the A590.

Gary Streets was charged with the offence after police found he was more than double the drink drive limit.

Kendal man banned after drug driving with metabolites of cocaine

A MAN has been sentenced after being caught driving with metabolites of a Class A drug.

Sidney Oram, of Greenside in Kendal, was driving his Fiat Punto on Milnthorpe Road on December 27 last year when he was stopped by police.

Grange-over-Sands driver sentenced after causing two traffic accidents

A MAN failed to report a crash after causing damage to two vehicles on Boxing Day, a court heard.

Martin Potter, of The Orchard, Lindale, admitted he had been driving his Ford Fiesta on Jack Hill, Allithwaite, when an accident occurred.
