Raising money for St Mary's Hospice, it has now been announced that a total of £1540 was donated thanks to local support and the arrival of visitors as part of Dave Day earlier this month.

One of the bands involved in the festival, Thieving Magpies, commented: "What's not to like about having fun playing live music and raising vital funds for a crucial cause at the same time?

"And as always, wonderful and generous people made it a great success - many thanks to Brian George and [the] team for having us to play, and for so many friends new and old that we caught up with."

The event is already set to be coming back next year on June 14 and 15.
