POLICE attended a two car crash on the A590 at Gilpin Bridge.
The collision was between a Renault van and a Vauxhall Astra at 8.13am on Monday.
A woman was taken to Westmorland General Hospital. The level of injury is not believed to be significant at the time, said police.
Police confirmed that they had recovered both vehicles and the road was fully open again at 9.59am today (June 24).
The police thanked drivers for their patience.
