Church Green Cottage is near the village of Corney. It is in a remote part of the countryside - six miles south of Ravenglass. The property has been given a guide price of £260,000 by Auction House Cumbria.
The cottage also has a large garage/workshop space and a carport.
It has a hall, conservatory, sitting room, living room, kitchen, utility, three bedrooms and bathroom.
The grounds include lawns, mature trees, the barn and stables with too loose boxes.
There is a private bore hole for water, although the septic tank does not comply with current regulations.
The cottage will be sold via auction on Thursday, July 18 at 12. The venue will be The Halston Hotel, Warwick Road, Carlisle.
