Cumbrian-based bakery business Lovingly Artisan will now be supplying their bread to Booths Windermere supermarket.
This move has been welcomed by the Booths store, a location that has recently undergone refurbishment.
This is the second store in the region to stock Lovingly Artisan's range of bread, with an existing selection in Booths Kendal.
The expert bakers behind Lovingly Artisan, Aidan Monks and Catherine Connor, are renowned for their range of sourdough breads.
Booths Windermere customers can now look forward to 11 different lines of their handcrafted bread, available seven days a week at the bakery counter.
Their range includes speciality breads incorporating ancient grains, ryes, malted barleys, and both white and brown sourdoughs.
Lovingly Artisan, a bakery company that was established 14 years ago, is dedicated to creating real sourdough using top-quality organic flours and ancient grains.
Since its establishment, Lovingly Artisan has grown, with a bakery hub in the Lake District and another in Manchester’s Altrincham Market.
The company's passion for quality bread-making has not gone unnoticed — their awards prove this.
In just 2024 alone, Lovingly Artisan was awarded Food & Drink Producer of the Year at the Northwest Family Business Awards, and Retailer of the Year, Baker of the Year, and Northwest Regional Champion by the Farm Shop & Deli Retailer Awards.
Notably, Lovingly Artisan also bagged Britain’s Best Artisan Bakery award in the Baker’s Dozen Awards for the second year running.
Booths buyer, Keith Parkinson, said: ‘’I am extremely proud to have been involved with forging a relationship with such a special business.
"The care, passion, and knowledge of the team at Lovingly Artisan are the perfect mix to produce outstanding products, and it’s a privilege to work with them to offer such fantastic products to the customers of our Windermere and Kendal stores."
Co-owner of Lovingly Artisan, Catherine Connor, said: ‘’It’s amazing that Booths have invited us to provide their customers with our breads in a second store.
"We first started to supply Booths’ customers at the Kendal store in 2022 and that relationship has grown from strength to strength.
"We hope that both like-minded businesses will continue to build on that relationship, as we share our passion for provenance and creating authentic healthy sourdough bread with their customers at the Windermere store.’’
