Tickets have gone on sale for the third annual Amblefest Beer and Music Festival which the organisers are promising will be the biggest and best event yet, with more beers and more live musical acts than ever before.

Described as Cumbria’s equivalent to the world-famous Oktoberfest, Amblefest is a celebration of beer, food and live music all set against the backdrop of one of the Lake District’s most picturesque towns, Ambleside.
The three-day event, from Friday, September 27 to Sunday 29, will be hosted across four of Ambleside’s most central and most popular venues – The Flying Fleece, The Tap Yard, The Apple Pie and The Giggling Goose.

Visitors will be able to wander freely between each of the venues, sampling different food and drink as they move from place to place.
Amblefest 2024 will see the festival’s biggest ever musical line up, headlined by local tribute act Meetwood Flac.

Other confirmed performers for this year include Adrian’s Youngsters, Trigger Happy, Atomic Brass, Fiona Hanlon, Native Cult, Ultrabyte and Jim Beam, with more yet to be announced.
A drinker’s paradise, the festival’s range of 40-plus beers, ales and ciders will be its biggest offering to date and while familiar favourites will be readily available to purchase, visitors will also have an opportunity to sample some more quirky and unusual tipples.
Festivalgoers feeling peckish will be able to indulge in a vast array of incredible culinary treats. Amongst the delicious food on offer will be gourmet burgers, wood fired pizzas and a traditional hog roast, with all types of dietary requirements catered for.
Booking early ensures the cheapest entry and early bird tickets are now on sale for just £6 per ticket.

Tickets will act as an entry pass for the entire weekend.
Book before July 31 and there is also an opportunity to buy a souvenir t-shirt and ticket combination.

These special ticket packages are only available to purchase until then and will cost just £16 per person, saving £5.
Amblefest is Ambleside’s first ever beer festival, bringing together the finest craft ales, live music and street food in a celebration of the town’s community and culture.

The majority of the event is centred around a pedestrianised area which also includes the historic 17th century Bridge House.
