Furness Bach Choir is putting on a concert in two locations based on the themes of love, lust and loss' - which also the name of the production.

The events will take place on Saturday, June 29 at Crosthwaite Village Hall and on Sunday June, 30 at the Victory Hall in Broughton-in-Furness.

Love, Lust and Loss is a collection of 17th century songs and music on that subject.

A spokesperson for Furness Bach Choir said: "Some of the songs are a bit bawdy, which is why we're not doing it in a church! But the whole thing is fun and light-hearted with music from around Europe at the time."

The choir will be joined by a small group of musicians from Ensemble Laus Deo, and the concerts will be conducted by the choir's musical director, Alex Robinson.

Seating will be cabaret-style and there will be refreshments during the interval.

Tickets are available via the choir's website, from choir members or at the door.

Both concerts start at 7.30 pm.
