POLICE issued an apology for people who did not get their takeaway delivered after pulling over a driver.
Barrow Neighbourhood Policing Team said they were 'very sorry' to anyone who did not receive their order last night (June 11).
This was due to a delivery driver committing several driving offences, said police.
"Unfortunately, your delivery driver decided he didn't need insurance and even decided to drive like a bit of a fool, drawing all the attention he could to himself," said the force.
"His invitation to be pulled over was greatly accepted by members of the Barrow Neighbourhood Policing Team, who then seized his car and reported him for driving offences.
"Also, a big thanks to the local residents who were so supportive, even cheering as the vehicle was towed.
"BADAABABABAAAAA... We are loving it."
