A group in Millom is trying to make a new festival in Cumbria a reality.
The Millom Fest committee is currently attempting to drive up donations for the event, which they hope will become an annual spectacle.
The small, charitable organisation has come up with the idea in the effort of providing the local community with a 'day out to remember'.
They said: "We want to be able to offer families opportunities to create wonderful memories by providing a low-cost event, to encourage those who might not be able to afford [a lot] due to the ongoing difficulties with the cost of living crisis.
"We already have some funding, which will make the day great. But we don't want great. We want amazing!"
The committee has so far set a goal of £2,500 to help bring the festival to life.
