As thousands of people arrive in Barrow, two people have revealed a very special reason for arriving early for Dave Day.
Michelle and Gary, from Penrith, arrived early around 2pm ahead of the thousands of bikers that plan to arrive in the town centre at 4pm.
The pair pulled up close to Barrow town hall with Hawaiian shirts over their biker leathers.
Gary said: "We're very big fans of Dave, so much so that he inspired us to move to Cumbria.
"We're originally from Farnborough in Hampshire. A few years ago we were watching the Hairy Bikers and he honestly inspired us to sell our house, and move to Cumbria, and we haven't looked back since.
"We're really looking forward to Dave Day and we arrived earlier as we can't wait for all the bikers to arrive around 4pm.
"It's going to be an amazing moment and it's all about celebrating Dave."
