BIKERS have set off on a 300-mile ride from London to Barrow in memory of Hairy Biker Dave Myers.
Thousands gathered at Ace Cafe in London this morning before departing at 8am.
Speaking to BBC News this morning, best friend Si King said: "It's a celebration of my best friend that we've lost. It's very emotional. You never know how these things are going to impact you. It is a celebration of Dave's life because he was so irritatingly positive at all times and that's why we love him."
"Can I take this opportunity to thank everyone in Barrow because they've been amazing. The local council, police, all the infrastructure."
