Barrow-born bodybuilder Danny Andrews, aka 'Fish and Rice Cakes guy' has teased he will be launching his own new product this month.

After appearing on BBC Three’s Baby Face Body Builders documentary in 2007 at the age of 16, a clip of Danny explaining his stringent diet for the upcoming Mr Cumbria bodybuilding competition became an internet sensation.

"Eight o'clock in the morning I'll have fish and a rice cake," he said, before going into further detail:

"At 10 o'clock, I'll have fish. At 12 o'clock, I'll have fish and a rice cake.

"At two o'clock, I'll have fish. At four o'clock - just before I train - I'll have fish and a rice cake. I'll train, I'll have me fish.

"I'll come home, have some more fish, with a rice cake, and then have some more fish before I go to bed."

Danny went on to have much success in bodybuilding competitions and won Mr Cumbria Junior for two years running.

He also won Mr UK Junior, came fourth in Mr Universe junior and won Mr Blackpool Junior and won Mr Cumbria overall.

After moving from Barrow in 2011, he now runs a successful barber shop in Fulwood, Preston which he opened in 2013.

He even went on to recreate the clip on his TikTok account which has so far got over 11 million views.

So far, the nature of his new product is being kept a secret.

Posting on his Instagram account on May 29, Danny said: "So for the past few years I have been working hard on a project and finally I have got a launch date.

"It will be Sunday 23rd June 7pm. I’m sooo excited!!

"The last few years I have embraced my ‘viral fame’ and changed the narrative and now I have created such an amazing product which is still a secret but can’t wait till you all find out, not long now."
