CUMBRIAN magician Jack Rhodes was just pipped at the post in the final of Britain’s Got Talent.
The Ulverston star impressed judges and the public with a trick involving Amanda Holden’s ring and a ‘magic’ lightbulb.
He made it to the final two in a nailbiting climax to Sunday’s show but was beaten to the prize money, and a spot at the Royal Variety show, by singer Sydnie Christmas.
The vote share of the top three was:
Sydnie Christmas - 27.2%
Jack Rhodes - 15.8%
Abigail & Afronitaaa - 10.4%
