A pub in the centre of a Furness town went under the hammer at auction - but remained unsold.

Auction House Cumbria held its monthly event on May 30 at The Halston Hotel on Warwick Road in Carlisle.

Lot number 21 was The Mason Arms pub, at 101 Market Street in Dalton, which appeared at auction with a guide price of £125,000.

This popular pub includes a bar area, games room, commercial kitchen, stores, WC and cellar.

While benefitting from outside space and a car park there is also a ‘spacious’ owners’ accommodation above, which comprises of a lounge, four bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower room.

The pub remained unsold and is still looking for a new owner.

 

Lot number 45 was the commercial property at 130 and 132 Market Street, which appeared at auction with a guide price of £50,000.

This double-fronted commercial property has three reception rooms and offices, a rear hall and two WCs to the ground floor, and a total of five rooms on the first floor.

The space sold for £96,000.
