A South Cumbrian animal rescue centre has reported that a rabbit, who had only ever experienced a 'life of pain', is doing much better.

Estuary Small Animal Rescue, based in Grange, took in Storm in February this year after originally being recovered from the South East.

Due to his previous carers clipping his teeth incorrectly, his jaw ended up broken and he suffered a myriad of other problems.

The rescue said he is now doing 'absolutely fine' with his friends.

They said: "Storm has suffered so much. He's not even three yet and all he knew was a life of pain and no companionship.

"Due to the 'rescue's clipping of his teeth, this then broke his jaw and resulted in all Stormy's problems.

"He is absolutely fine by the way and has some really exciting things to show you in two weeks time with Rocket, Groot and Star.

"When a 'rescue' says they are a rescue, please make sure you do your research first."
