A dance group in Dalton is celebrating ten years of nurturing young talent in the area this week.

The Elite Dance and Fitness Studio returned to The Forum in Barrow on Wednesday night as part of their 'Stars of the Future' performance.

The annual show has now been going for ten years, providing opportunities for young people to experience the 'thrill, energy and exercise' of dance in its many forms.

The showcase is having a two-night run and features performances from the studio's cheer, street, acro-lyrical, tap and ballroom dance departments.

The group said: "The hours and work these dancers put in, you wouldn’t believe it.

"To have a team like this to be proud of is a blessing - thank you to all coming to support [us]."
