Police are investigating an assault that happened outside a pub.
The assault occurred on Newton Road, outside the Newton Arms Pub in Dalton, at 11pm on Saturday May 18.
The incident involved three men however there were a number of people gathered at the time of the incident, said Cumbria Police.
A 35-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and released on bail.
Officers are appealing for information relating to the incident and ask that anyone who witnessed the incident makes contact with police.
