A major supermarket chain is set to recruit 90 members of staff in Cumbria, coinciding with a fresh pay boost this week.
Aldi needs new staff at all levels of experience to fill full-time and part-time vacancies across the region.
This follows an increase in hourly wages for all store workers nationwide from this week.
The changes will see the hourly payment for store assistants rise from £12 to £12.40 across the UK, and from £13.55 to £13.65 for those inside the M25.
This is Aldi's second wage increase for store colleagues this year, pushing their total wage investment to £79m this year.
The supermarket remains as the sole supermarket to offer paid breaks, which totals more than £900 yearly for the average store employee.
Kelly Stokes, HR director at Aldi UK, said: "The roll out of our latest pay increase cements our commitment to our colleagues that we will always be the best-paying retailer.
"Our colleagues play an integral part in our ever-increasing popularity, and this is another way for us to acknowledge the incredible work they do every day across the UK."
Aldi has a number of stores across Cumbria including in Barrow, Penrith, Carlisle, Kendal, Cockermouth, Ulverston, Carnforth and Workington.
