A MAN accused of possessing indecent images of children and animals has appeared in court.
Rodger Morris is alleged to have been found in possession of nearly 100 indecent images of children.
The 65-year-old is also alleged to have possessed extreme pornographic images showing a person performing a sex act with a dog.
The defendant is said to have committed the offence between September 3 and December 28.
Morris, of West Shore Park on Walney, gave no plea to the charges he faces when he appeared before South Cumbria Magistrates' Court.
His case has been sent to Preston Crown Court. He is next due to appear for a hearing on June 20.
