A TRIAL date has been set after a care worker from Barrow denied she had ill-treated or wilfully neglected two individuals.
Susan Perry, of Urswick Green in Barrow, pleaded not guilty to two charges contrary to section 20(1) of the Criminal Justice and Courts Act 2015 when she appeared at Preston Crown Court on May 28.
The 53-year-old originally indicated her not guilty pleas to the charges at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court last month.
Perry was granted unconditional bail by Her Honour Judge Heather Lloyd ahead of her trial on July 16 2025.
