"Well done also the Lakeland District Sea Cadets - collectively, we were recognised as the district that has grown the most in the North West area."
The Lakeland district covers the cadets in Kendal and Whitehaven, who also earned themselves Golden Burgees, as well as Maryport, Carlisle and Morecambe and Heysham.
