The organisers of a 'Party for Palestine' event in Barrow have described how they were 'blown away' by its success.
The event took place at Barrow Underground Music Society on Carlisle Street on Saturday, May 18.

The aim of the party was to raise money for Medical Aid for Palestinians, with the organisers revealing that a total of £935 has been brought in so far.
They said: "We’re blown away after the event and all the support we have been shown in the build up to it - community solidarity is power.
"Thank you all again and a special shout-out to the workshop facilitators, musicians, bar staff, photographers, DJs, members of Furness Multi-Cultural Community Forum and Youth club, and Barrow Underground Music Society - we wouldn’t have pulled this off without you all."
