Firefighters working in Furness were recognised for the unwavering work they do in the area earlier this week.
Representatives from Cumbria Fire Service met with the on-call volunteers at Broughton-in-Furness Fire Station, along with their families.
This was the final edition of the appreciation evenings that the service has been running since last year, visiting every single fire station in the community so that they can honour their dedication and bravery.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Fire and Rescue said: "Since the launch of the events back in October, we've welcomed hundreds of guests to our On-Call stations across the county.
"In these, we have shown our gratitude to our crews for their commitment, and to their families and employers for their support - thank you to everyone who has joined us."
The fire service is still on the lookout for new recruits to become on-call firefighters, people who live ordinary lives 'until their pager goes off' and they drop everything to help those in need.
