Barrow locals are being offered the chance to shape future international relations.
The Barrow-in-Furness Town Twinning Association, driven by the Town Council, is set to host a public meeting from 6pm to 7.30pm on June 3.
Up to 100 residents, registered on the electoral roll and aged 18 and over, can attend at the Town Hall to discuss possible twinning arrangements with international partners.
This project mirrors similar initiatives in Dalton, Ulverston and many more UK towns and cities.
Invitations are now open for residents to guide this project forward, gain information and share their thoughts on potential partner towns.
The wheelchair-accessible Town Hall will provide free light refreshments to all attendees.
Interested locals can reserve their free tickets via Ticket Tailor by searching for Barrow-in-Furness Twinning Association.
