HRH King Charles III has made the decision to continue his royal patronage of the Wordsworth Trust in the Lake District.
His Majesty The King has been a patron of the organisation since 1996 with the trust confirming on Tuesday, May 14 that the partnership was set to continue.
Dove Cottage, the former home of the revered poet, has become a popular visiting spot for The King over the years.
A spokesperson from the Trust said: "We are honoured and delighted that His Majesty The King has chosen to continue his Royal Patronage of the Wordsworth Trust.
"This is a tremendous endorsement of the continuing importance of Wordsworth, and of the work we do to fulfil the poet's own wish, that his poems 'live and do good'."
