The people of Barrow have been branded as 'phenomenal' by the organisers of the upcoming Dave Day event.
Jason Woodcock, who was tasked by Dave Myers' widow Liliana and best pal Si King to spearhead plans for the tribute to Barrovian, provided his latest update on Tuesday night.
On June 8, at least 10,000 motorbike riders will be making the journey from London to Barrow to honour the life of the Hairy Biker, with plenty more congregating for a series of events across the town.

Jason said: "I'd just like to thank everybody, not just the folks who are coming on the ride, but everybody.
"Barrow people have just been phenomenal - well done to you all, you've just been amazing.
"And everyone I speak to about it is blown away by what they're seeing from the people of Barrow and the council of Barrow and the BID team, as well as all the people who have contacted me to give up their time so that they can help out on the day."
Since Dave Day was announced, people in the area have fully embraced the idea and the principles that kick-started the process in the first place.
Various clubs throughout Furness are opening their doors to give campers a place to stay, whilst numerous businesses are getting involved in their own individual ways.
Jason also confirmed that Liliana and Si would be making an appearance on the main stage outside Barrow Town Hall to coincide with the arrival of the riders so that they can share their gratitude for the people who made the day possible.
He added that the chosen charities of Dave Day, NSPCC Childline and The Institute of Cancer Research, wanted to make it clear how thankful they were for the influx of donations that have come in.
Jason commented: "They're amazing charities, they've both been in touch with me over the last couple of days, saying how blown away they are by everybody.
"And they're really looking forward to the day as well, they've got some representatives joining us on the ride."
