Drivers will have several roadworks to watch out for this week.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M6, from 6am April 11 to 6am June 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M6 southbound, junction 39 to 38, carriageway closure and lane closure for Construction of new weather station south of Tebay Services (East).
And a further three will begin over the next two weeks:
• A590, from 6pm May 15 to 5.30am May 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A590 eastbound and westbound, Three Bridges, traffic signals for works (Fibrus networks LTD).
• A590, from 6pm May 15 to 11pm May 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A590 eastbound and westbound, Arrad Foot, traffic signals for works (Fibrus networks LTD).
• M6, from 8pm May 15 to 5am May 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M6 northbound and southbound, junction 36, Lane closures and slip road closures for structure maintenance.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
