Firefighters in Millom showed off the latest vehicle to join their ranks earlier this week.
On Thursday, the team at Millom Fire Station put their recently acquired Mule to the test, a form of off road vehicle.
This bit of kit will make their lives easier whenever they are faced with an emergency, allowing them to reach more areas than ever in their efforts to keep the region safe.
A spokesperson from the fire station commented: "We took advantage of the lovely weather and did a pumping from open water drill.
"Being a wildfire station, the mule is an affective bit of equipment to assist with off road capability and get us as close as possible to the fire with our equipment and also provides us with a water source."
