A WARM-UP show is set to take place before the annual underground music festival in town.
Funeral Fest Warm-up event is coming to The Meeting Place in Barrow today, Saturday 11.
The event will count with performances of the Cumbria black metal band The Dying Light, the trash band Trendkill hailing from Middlesborough, the blackened hardcore band from Birmingham Knife Crime and the Barrow-based modern metal act Isolhate.
This pre-show is preparing extreme metal music aficionados for the festival returning to the Soccer Bar in Barrow on June 28 and 29.
Funeral Fest is a grassroots festival showcasing talent across the UK and the overseas scene.
It has been running for several years and this year's edition will see more acts than ever with 22 bands performing across the two days.
Organised by RW events, The Meeting Place and Funeral Fest, today's show is free entry and it starts at 7pm.
